Scott is Founder and CEO of GOGII, Inc.
In March 2000, Scott Co-Founded JAMDAT Mobile with Austin Murray and
Zachary Norman. JAMDAT Mobile had a successful IPO in 2004 and was eventually
sold to Electronic Arts for $680 million in February 2006. Scott was JAMDAT's
President, and served as its first CEO, leading its early fundraising efforts.
Before founding JAMDAT, Scott joined Activision as one of its first several dozen
employees in 1994 and served as Vice President, Studios. As a corporate officer,
Scott was on Activision's M&A team responsible for integrating multiple acquisitions
as well as representing the company in outward corporate sales.
Scott began his career in the film and television industry, most notably as a development
executive for Robert De Niro's Tribeca Productions from 1990 to 1994. Scott holds a BA
from Columbia University
Austin is Founder and President of GOGII, where he leads Sales, Marketing,
and Strategy.
Austin Co-Founded wireless entertainment publisher JAMDAT Mobile with Scott Lahman
and Zachary Norman, and served as Vice President, Sales. In addition to establishing
JAMDAT as the industry leader on US carrier decks, Austin oversaw JAMDAT's international
expansion in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Austin helped grow JAMDAT's
distribution footprint to more than 80 operators in 40 countries, accessible to over
800M subscribers. Prior to JAMDAT Mobile, Austin served as Director, Strategy at
eCompanies, LLC, where he played an integral part in the launch of eCompanies Wireless,
an incubator and partnership with Sprint PCS. Previously, Austin served as Director,
Business Development at iBEAM Broadcasting, a streaming media content distribution
network. Austin met his GOGII co-founders while working at Activision in Marketing and
Production.
Austin holds a JD from UCLA School of Law and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson Graduate
School of Management. Austin is a Member of the California Bar. He graduated cum
laude with a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
Zachary is Founder, President & Chief Creative Officer of GOGII, where he
handles the execution of GOGII's strategy through the creation and management of
its platform and product offering.
Zachary Co-Founded JAMDAT Mobile with Scott Lahman and Austin Murray. As
Senior Vice President Worldwide Studios, he built JAMDAT Studios into a global
operation with both internal and external product development teams in several
countries and managed the production slate and all aspects of front-line product
development. Zachary believes that high product quality, platform-native design, and
a high degree of utility are key factors for the success of any electronic
offering. He built JAMDAT Studio's slate, management and systems around this doctrine
and as a result JAMDAT was recognized throughout the industry as the quality and
innovation leader in mobile entertainment. Zachary designed hits like JAMDAT
Bowling, Bejeweled Multiplayer, and JAMDAT Solitaire. Prior to JAMDAT, Zachary
served as Creative Director and Executive Producer at Activision, Inc., where he
designed and managed several hit video game titles including Mechwarrior 2 and
Interstate '76, titles responsible for over $250M in revenue. Prior to his career in
the interactive space Zachary was a screenwriter and is credited with the
conception of the Best Picture Oscar-winning feature film Shakespeare In Love.
Zachary graduated from Boston University's School for the Arts in 1991, with
a Bachelor of Fine Arts
Cory is the Vice President of Engineering at GOGII, where he leads
Architecture, Development and Deployment. Cory has been an innovator in small, agile
startups in Mobile, Media, and Entertainment technologies for the past decade.
Before joining GOGII, Cory was Vice President of Technology at GoTV Networks,
a leader in made- for-mobile video content. While at GoTV, Cory was responsible
for new product development and distribution, as well as dramatically increasing
production throughput by introducing automation video production systems and
developing best practices.
Previously, Cory led technology efforts for JAMDAT Mobile. As Senior Director
of Technology for Los Angeles Studios, Cory was responsible for keeping JAMDAT
on the bleeding edge of Mobile Technology. Cory oversaw the technology
development of the first real-time mobile multiplayer games, including Scrabble
Multiplayer and Bejeweled Multiplayer. Additionally, Cory and his team created the
automated build management system that enables the support of thousands of binary
releases for each mobile title.
Cory has a degree in Computer Engineering from University of Southern
California
Tricia is the Chief Marketing Officer at GOGII, where she leads strategic
partner relationships and oversees all marketing and communications.
Tricia brings to GOGII over 18 years of Entertainment and Consumer Packaged
Goods experience across Marketing, Sales and General Management. Prior to joining
GOGII, Tricia held leading roles at Activision, Inc., including VP Global Brand
Management, SVP North American Sales and SVP European Publishing. Working
closely with Scott Lahman, Tricia architected a breakthrough operating model aligning
Studio and Marketing that helped drive Activision to a leading position in the
video game industry. In addition to crafting a wide range of licensed portfolio
deals, Tricia led all marketing for successful game franchises like Spider-Man,
Shrek, and Marvel's X-Men and Fantastic Four games. Tricia began her marketing
career at ConAgra and Oral-B, where she was responsible for new product
development and launches, including mega brands like Orville Redenbacher and Oral-B.
Tricia holds an MBA from USC's Marshall School of Business. She received her
BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Michael Kirby is Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, GOGII, Inc.
Prior to joining GOGII, Michael served as Executive Vice President and General Manager at
Fox Interactive Media (parent company of MySpace.com), a News Corporation Company.
One of the authors of the 2005 business plan that launched Fox Interactive Media (FIM),
Michael served as EVP and GM of Intermix Media, Inc. (parent company of MySpace.com) after
the close of the $580 million acquisition. At Intermix, Michael led the product integration
of acquired assets and established Fox brands, building community sections of FOXSports.com,
AmericanIdol.com and Fox Stations web sites. As a member of FIM's Executive Committee, Michael
oversaw the integration of Photobucket.com and Flektor.com. As a board member of SimplyHired.com,
Michael managed News Corp's equity interest in the company that powers MySpace Jobs.
Since 1995, Michael has developed new products and businesses for media companies including Fox,
ESPN/Disney and Activision. Prior to FIM, Michael was Vice President of Strategic Planning and
Operations at Fox Sports Interactive, where he developed and managed the Microsoft alliance for
FOXSports.com on MSN. The distribution and product development relationship lifted Fox Sports online
audience from just over one million to more than 10 million monthly Unique Visitors. Before Fox, Michael
was Director of Business Development at ESPN, where he served on the founding team of EXPN.com, the
company's new brand and web site for action sports and youth lifestyle. Michael then managed ESPN e-commerce,
forming and managing an alliance with Nike for Niketown at ESPN.com. Before ESPN/Disney, Michael worked at
Activision with Scott Lahman, Austin Murray and Zachary Norman. Michael produced computer game "Spycraft," the
first original franchise developed by Activision since its renaissance in 1992.
A master stonemason, Michael ran a construction company from his dorm room at Yale, building three houses and
completing 100 projects before graduation.
Michael earned his B.A. at Yale University and MBA at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
